ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Maya Eisbart, a multi-hyphenate performer from Denver, Colorado. I’m currently a junior Theatre Major at Denver School of the Arts, and I spend my summers training at Stagedoor Manor in New York.
I’ve loved performing for as long as I can remember, and over the years, theatre has become more than a passion—it’s become a way for me to connect, create, and lead. I believe in the power of storytelling to bring people together, and I’m especially drawn to work that fosters empathy and community through the arts.
When I was 12, I co-founded New Generation Productions (NGP), a student run theatre organization with a mission to provide professional level theatre experiences to driven young artists who aspire to make a difference in their community through art. Since then, we've produced and directed five full scale shows–most recently Hadestown, which I had the privilege of directing. In 2024, our work was honored with a True West Award from the Denver Gazette.
As a performer, I’ve worked on a wide range of productions at school, regional theaters, and summer intensives. Some of my favorite roles include Eurydice in Hadestown, Blanche in Bonnie & Clyde, Matilda in Matilda, and Beth in Merrily We Roll Along. I’m equally passionate about directing, producing, and building collaborative spaces where young artists can thrive.
Outside of theatre, I love all things creative— you’ll probably find me painting pottery, watercoloring, thrifting, sewing a new project, or baking something overly ambitious.
